Forensic psychology involves the application of scientific and professional aspects of psychology to questions and issues relating to law and the legal system.  In the juvenile and adult legal systems, forensic mental health evaluations can play an important role in helping the court to understand the individual’s overall psychological well-being and related treatment needs.
